Improvising to the music of the harp, like David, they devise their own accompaniment. They drink wine from bowls and anoint themselves with the best oils; yet they are not made ill by the collapse of Joseph! Today, we pray for pretend Christians
Lord Jesus, today we bring to the foot of Your cross, all those are putting up a show of piety. Lord, when You walked the earth, You hated hypocrisy and called it the yeast of the Pharisees. We pray that You cleanse Your church and its people, of any trace of power abuse, hypocrisy, deception and lies. Tear down the walls of evil. Make us know that the punishment for deceivers will be great from a God who abhors dishonesty. Let true repentance happen and let us not make a mockery of our faith. Amen.
On the Wings of a Prayer
Just close your eyes and open your heart, And feel your worries and cares depart. Just yield yourself to the Father above, And let Him hold you secure in His love. For life on earth grows more involved, With endless problems that can’t be solved, But God only ask us to do our best, Then He will take over and finish the rest… So when you are tired, discouraged and blue, There is always one door that is open to you, And that is the door to The House of Prayer, And you’ll find God waiting to meet you there....
