Lord Jesus, today we bring to You just pain – pain for the times we have been unfairly judged or misunderstood. Lord, take the pain and give Your peace in return. We chose to forgive; help us make it a daily, fervent decision. May we believers learn to recognise the devil’s tactics to plant discord, confusion and strife. May Your love penetrate into our very souls and heal us. Heal all our relationships by Your Precious Blood. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends. We pray that theirs wombs and babies are blessed. May the men who are to give them care and love, do so, with Your touch. Hold their babies and bless their men. May Your angels, Saint Anne and Mother Mary give them relief from their discomforts. Bless them with safe and happy confinement and smooth labour. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we pray that You preserve Your men and women in military service. We pray for truth, justice and human rights in the battle field. May our spouses, parents, brothers, sisters and friends who are risking their lives for our motherland, be blessed in a special way today. We pray for their spiritual walk, good health and longevity. May Your love sustain and encourage them through dark, anxious and lonely hours. We pray for the strengthening of their families and loved ones facing daily challenges, while awaiting their return. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each man, woman and child seeking to find You through a retreat. We pray that those who desperately wish to attend a retreat can do so soon. Remove the hindrances, anxieties, people and negative circumstances that are blocking their plans. We surrender each person and their desire to know You fully – at the foot of the cross. May their cries reach Your ears today and may they get the total and lasting deliverance only Your Holy Spirit can give. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are sick. Watch over our parents and grandparents, Oh Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Amen.
