Lord Jesus, today we bring to You individuals, families, churches and organisations that need a spiritual awakening. May your Spirit come into us and fill us with the gifts and fruits needed for growth. May we never slide in our faith. Let our lives shine and shine for You alone first. Amen.
Lord Jesus, there is no one who uses the power of words to heal as much as You do. We pray for Christians who inflict deep wounds with their tongue, without a care for others’ feelings. We pray that the ones who are at the receiving end – can heal, forgive and forget too, by Your grace. May we too become the kind of people who are gentle and loving in our speech. Let the anger, unforgiving attitude and hatred melt away when we are touched by You daily. Heal our tongues, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You all our brothers and sisters who are disabled, paralysed pr comatose. We pray that You breathe healing into their nerves and bones. May each one of them experience the healing that the sick, the lame and the blind experienced when You lived on this earth. We pray also for the families and carers of these men and women – that they too may be strengthened by Your Spirit. Bless and heal them all. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the women who love us, pray for us, live with us, care for us and help mould us daily into what we are. We thank You Lord, for our wives, mothers, best friends, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, nieces and colleagues. May Your love sustain them, all their lives, in a special way.
