Today, we pray for people sinning against their bodies

Lord Jesus, You taught us about love. But to some, love is manifested as lust. We pray for our brothers and sisters living in the bondage of sexual sin, especially the ones who live it in secret and have no qualms about it. May they have the courage and integrity to recognise their folly and fight it, with Your grace. Pour forth Your Spirit on each one of us so that we may never fall into this evil. Protect our own and our children from being preys to this too. Amen.

Today, we pray for those who are travelling

Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who are travelling. We pray that You will keep each one of us safe and protected by Your constant care when we move from one place to another. Give us travelling mercies. Keep our loved ones who are on the move by air, road or water, safe from death, disease or catastrophes. May Your angels surround us now and forever – right from the time we step out to make our journey and to the time when we are back. Amen.

Today, we pray that we may live saintly lives

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You today our desire to become saints. We were created to worship and honour You with our lives. We consecrate ourselves to You in a special way today, O Christ the King and pray that we will live fulfilling lives that bring honour to Your name. May our homes, churches and workplaces be places which shape us into saintly people. Let us become role models for other Christians, in our love, dedication, purity, honesty, integrity, humility, joyfulness, holiness and simplicity. Amen.

Today, we pray for our soldiers

Lord Jesus, today, we pray that You will protect Your men and women in military service. We pray for truth, justice and human rights in the battle field. May our spouses, parents, brothers, sisters and friends who are risking their lives for our motherland, be blessed in a special way today. We pray for their spiritual walk, good health and longevity. May Your love sustain and encourage them through dark, anxious and lonely hours. We pray for the strengthening of their families and loved ones, facing daily challenges, while awaiting their return. A special prayers for the souls of war...

Today, we pray for the silent helpers of Your ministry

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You, Your silent supporters on this earth. Lord, bless and honour those who clean the pews, decorate the halls for worship, do secretarial work, wash the toilets and do odd jobs behind the scenes – the sound technicians, the volunteer staff, the drivers, families of ministers, the launderers, the babysitters and all those who faithfully and quietly support ministries with their time and money, for Your glory. A prayer for their families too. May their rewards come from You. And frequently remind each of us that each role comes from You, so respect all...
