Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You our teachers. As many students write their exams these weeks, we acknowledge the sacrifice and efforts of hours of dedication that thousands of teacher put in. Thank You Lord, for those who taught us everything – from discipline to sharing, from knowledge to integrity. We pray that each one of them is touched by You and cared for, in a special way. May good Christian men and women take up this commitment to become teachers. Bless their students to know You and about You, first and last. Bless their families too. Amen.

Lord Jesus, there is no one who uses the power of words to heal as much as You do. We pray for Christians who inflict deep wounds with their tongue, without a care for others’ feelings. We pray that the ones who are at the receiving end – can heal, forgive and forget too, by Your grace. May we too become the kind of people who are gentle and loving in our speech. Let the anger, unforgiveness and hatred melt away when we are touched by You daily and speak out Your words. Heal our tongues, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all Your children who are longing to hold a baby in their arms. Lord, we pray for mercy. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who have special needs. Oh Lord who said, Your grace is sufficient for us, may Your strength be made perfect in our weakness. Lord, our loved ones born blind, lame, deaf, dumb or are bedridden – never get to enjoy normal lives. Lord, often life is difficult for these special people. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are mentally unstable. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name we pray that they will be delivered and saved from destruction. Let schizophrenia, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, fear, psychosis, neurosis, manic depression and all kinds of mental illness be routed from our families and communities. Let them never harm themselves or others. Let them be set free forever from all emotional bondages, forever. Amen.
