We pray that husbands and wives will truly be committed and sincerely love, honour and cherish this special gift from You. Let care, forgiveness and humility take the place of resentment and ego. May homes be filled with the power and grace of God and may all hurts be washed away by Your precious blood. May their children experience Your healing touch too. Bind these couples together with the eternal cords of Your love. Amen.

Lord Jesus, as we have marked another World Mission Sunday, we pray for missionaries all over the world. Lord, we consecrate each one of them and their families and friends to Your Sacred Heart. We pray in particular for those stuck in faraway lands, surrounded by hostile forces. When troubles and turmoils come, be their strength. Give all of Your missionary servants the humility, simplicity, grace, honesty, dedication and most importantly, Your kind of love – that live up to their calling. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to you our dear ones who have come newly into the christian faith. Lord, guide and strengthen them with your power – each step of the way. Help us to truly walk the walk, so that we can be ideal, sincere and honest role models to them. We pray that these brothers and sisters are never so discouraged that they lose hope completely. Bless them and take them all under your wing. And let them be aware of your presence when all goes awry in their lives, in both good times and in bad. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You created man and gave woman to him as a partner. We pray for those of us, especially Christians, who have gone through the pain of divorce and are now struggling with pain or guilt. We pray that those can receive complete healing and deliverance by Your power. May no one abuse our vulnerability and pain. Heal our wounds, and help us forgive and move on.
