Living Hope

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3

Let your anxious heart rejoice with the glorious expectations of all riches and treasures that await you in heaven. Thank God for such a hope and turn your thoughts away from all the burdens and worries of the world. Renew your mind with thoughts of the pure untainted inheritance that is waiting for you – an inheritance that can never be destroyed.

Prayer focuses our hearts on heaven while our feet remain firmly planted on the earth. So even if you are involved in a bitter struggle here on earth, remember your inheritance in heaven and praise the Lord.
