Prayer for Addicts

Loving heavenly father,
Lord I know I am unworthy to come to your feet. I have sinned against you knowingly and sometimes unwittingly. Lord, I went behind bad companions for pleasure, enjoyment or relief and I have been addicted to various bad habits. Now my behavior is out of control causing problems for people around me. Lord, I know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. Desperately I need a deliverance now Lord. Hear my cry and set me free from my evil habits. Set me free from the law of sin and death. Lord, you said you have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. So please set me free from these habits because if you set me free, I will be truly free. Forgive me Lord, protect me and help not to get entangled with those habits anymore. Help me to love you with all my heart, with all my understanding and with all my strength. Now I pray for all of those who suffer like me. When Job prayed for his friends, LORD you restored his fortune. Please hear my prayer and deliver all of them from their dreadful habits. Let every one of them feel the deliverance now Lord. Lord thank you for delivering me and my friends too. I love you and Praise you. In Jesus matchless name I pray. Amen
