Prayer Gives Courage

The way to have joy in persecution is to find your joy in Jesus

A prayerful life is an unending conversation with God that comes from the inner heart of a person. While we are under the control of the Holy Spirit, He gives us courage and strength to stand firm in Him and to do everything according to His will. A man of God is always against evil and prefers to live a holy life. When we surrender our life in the hand of the Lord as a sacrifice, The Holy Spirit, gives us courage and strength to work for the Glory of Lord according to his will. Though Daniel knew he was going to be put in the lions den, he did not fear but knelt and prayed three times a day as he usually does.

Poly Carp, a Bishop of the Simirna Church was a dedicated man of God. In his 86th age the roman soldiers came to detain him for preaching the word of god. He greeted them and gave them food. The soldiers told Poly Carp that they would leave him if he revile and deny Jesus. Poly Carp replied that he had been worshiping Jesus for 86 years and God has has’t done any harm to him and was with him always and hence cannot deny his King. So, Poly Carp was detained and was sentenced to burn alive. While he was in the midst of the fire, he looked on to the heaven and thanked God.

Similarly god gives His strength and courage for his people who have committed their life for His work.

The Bible says:

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Today we hear of Persecuted Christians around the world, yet many of us have not been tested to that extent. We must examine our faith. How would we respond if we are tested?

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11-12

When pressures mount because we walk

The path of truth and right

We can rejoice to know that we

Are pleasing in God’s sight

Superior publish! I’ve been making an attempt to provide you with a good web enterprise thought for a while. As an alternative, I’ve come up with a great non-web enterprise concept, which form of sucks in a method because this idea calls for some huge cash, as hostile to an entire internet-based mostly business that might now not require that a lot to get it started. I’m not giving up though. I just lately began a weblog the place I plan to document my steps for starting my company. I figured it will keep me stimulated and drive me to keep at it.
