This or That

One day a mother took her little son to a toy shop. There were variety of toys and among that a beautiful red car impressed the little boy, he picked that and told his mother that he liked that. Then he came across another car which looked nice than that  so he said,” mom I think this looks better than that and dropped the red car, then he came across another car which impressed him, again he said, “mom this looks nice than that, so I take this. As each toy impressed him in different ways, he continued to drop the one he picked earlier. Then he took the first red car in on hand and another car on the other hand. He knew he had to pick either this or that so finally he decided to take the red car and went happily. .

My dear friends, unless we lose something we cannot gain anything. Whatever we see in this world would be better than the other. And only very few acquire everything that they wish for, that too through their influence or money. In this world, we may live a luxurious lavish life, we may have lot of people to work for us, our business turnover may be crores and crores, and we may be in a position to acquire anything and everything we wish. But nothing can be taken with us while we die except the soul. And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7. That’s why Jesus says, for what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? Matthew 16:26. Because each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. James 1:14,15. Our soul does not belong to us “Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins shall die. Says the lord Ezekiel 18:4. so let us not give importance to the worldly pleasures but keep ourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Jude 1:21 and May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Thessalonians 5:23
