Today, we pray for a blessed Lent

Lord Jesus, our Saviour, we ask You to bless this season of Lent, as we prepare ourselves to know You more. We bring to You our sins, our fears, our tears, our hopes, our past, present and future. May our loved ones and we use this time to examine ourselves, to correct and change ourselves, with the power of Your Holy Spirit. As we remember the love of the Heavenly Father who sent His only begotten Son to save us, may we be filled with longing to serve Him and Him alone, by loving Him and His own like He always wants. May You all-sacrificing love be our ultimate aim this season and forever. Amen.
