Today, we pray for the selection of a new Pope

Lord Jesus, today we – thousands of believers, humbly kneel at Thy feet and beg Thee to help the conclave elect our new Papa. Lord, He is to be the father of a great fellowship of souls and our spiritual guide as well. We pray that Your representatives will elect a man completely of Your choice. Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to Your shepherds a spirit of courage, wisdom and right judgement today. May the new successor of Peter and the vicar of You Lord Jesus Christ, build Your church into a sacrament of unity, love and peace for all the world.
